I rarely get photos of my grown children these days, but still capturing the grandkiddos! Back when my children were little we only had a Minolta with the 35mm film that you had no idea what was on it until you took it in for development lol! Needless to say, we have a LOT of shoeboxes filled with all those precious photos, faded and yellowed but my grandkids love looking thru them! Thanks for sharing a beautiful post!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7068408751309289035.post-38777227568143548492016-05-03T04:59:01.794-07:002016-05-03T04:59:01.794-07:00you know you're preaching to the choir right? ...you know you're preaching to the choir right? :) i've been making a conscious effort to capture more faces in my photos this year. (which always sounds strange considering the fact that capturing my loved ones is what got me into this game) but it makes me so happy seeing the faces of my loved ones in my scrapbooks. thanks for reminding me to keep it up! xoxokellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05153095149911030832noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7068408751309289035.post-9430489211489716712016-05-02T11:23:34.299-07:002016-05-02T11:23:34.299-07:00Terri, wonderful post this morning! I toke the holiday pictures, the birthday pictures, and the vacation pictures. Those are fine and cherished, but I didn't capture the everyday moments of my children. Part of the reason, of course, was the expense of film and having it developed, but the other part was just not knowing. We always wanted to dress up our family and pose them. I think social media, online classes, and blogs have made us all more aware of capturing those small moments. Thanks for the collage link, I'll be checking it out!Cathy H.https://www.blogger.com/profile/10779935742253650385noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7068408751309289035.post-30985332385185947322016-05-02T11:03:28.870-07:002016-05-02T11:03:28.870-07:00I love this post. The ones I do have mean so very much to me and then your floral photos and your granddaughter's photos......that's me in a nutshell. I have documented my grandchildrens' lives as much as possible as well as dabble in still life photography. I have 5 grandsons and 1 granddaughter and PINK is a welcome change! I've often said I wish digital photography had been an option when my daughter was growing up. Thank goodness I've had it for my granddaughter's growing up years. One word of caution though: even girls reach a point where they don't want you to take their pictures. So snap those beautiful granddaughters while you can! (I look at that photo of young Jeff and see so much Bob in that face!)Dottihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00811399388989716265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7068408751309289035.post-5751670007670808652016-05-02T04:14:06.794-07:002016-05-02T04:14:06.794-07:00Great to see these, Terri.
