'collage podge'

A couple months ago I made this canvas at home, using one of my photographs, and posted it on my personal blog.  It got such positive feedback, ended up on Pinterest and will still occasionally get a few questions about the process.  If you're looking for a fun way to display that favorite photograph of yours, I highly recommend you set aside some time, crank up the tunes and go for it.  You will have a new piece of artwork for your wall...designed by you!

 Being someone who always 'links with love'...credit for this fabulous idea goes to 'a beautiful mess' blog.  Please stop by and check it out as she always has great ideas to share.

If you could, please take some photos of your finished piece and share it on our flickr page. We would love to see your work!  ~ xo's

{To enlarge the first image just click on it...and then click on it again at my blog.  So easy!}

Hi Susan
I'm so excited about this post because I haven't been in the blog world all that long. I'm always looking for new places. Links with love is fascinating - thanks for the referral. I love when something is done ethically and morally - those words should be much more prominent!
Secondly, I remember when you posted this project. I never got around to trying it, but it looks like fun. I am going to set aside a Saturday for this!

And you know we are all so proud of your debut with Sweet Gumball ! Go for it!

Loved this when I saw it on your blog and, like Carol, wanted to try it but have not as yet. I am definitely going to choose a photo and give it a try. Also love knowing about blogs with ideas of things to do with your photographs and I love Elsie! My post for next Tuesday is on that same subject so I am hoping it will tie in with yours. Thanks for posting about this -- it may be just the "kick in the pants" I need to actually do this!

Just went over to "linked with love" and I just wanted to add that I totally agree with their philosophy. It has always bugged me that Pinterest doesn't link to the original source. Thanks so much for sharing this site.

I remember when you posted this earlier, and like everyone else I wanted to try it, but....you know. It is definitely on my "to try" list. And yes, there are so many blogs out there that share such wonderful ideas. Isn't blogging just wonderful??!! Oh the things you learn and the friends you meet. Your new site is wonderful...good blessings your way.

Wow! Such a bonanza here! A fabulous do-it-yourself project to try and two new websites to visit each day! Thanks, Susan. Love "Gumball" and after just one look am ready to become a fan of "Linked with Love". The net needs something like this because Pinterest let us down. Way to go, Susan! And looking forward to following "Gumball"

If you do the project, please put it up in flickr. I'd love to see it! As far as Pinterest, please go to their site and grab a badge...you even get to pick out which color one you want. It's such a cool thing to do and much needed with. Thanks for the sweet comments! ~ xo

Thanks Claudia! Just grab one of your favorite shots and get started with this project. You'll be so happy you did. I have mine around my little studio and those are the most special pieces because "I" made them. Just like a little kid with an art project. Instead of it hanging on the fridge it's now hanging on my wall. :) ~ xo
