Ripe with Inspiration

by Kelly

If you are looking for some fresh inspiration, well then look no further than your local farmstand or farmers' market.

Or maybe even your own backyard!

Summer is here, and with it comes a glorious array of color and shape and texture.

A season so ripe with sweet inspiration...pun totally intended.

Summer's bounty is the perfect subject for photography.  And the very best thing about it is that once you're finished photographing it, then you get to enjoy it!

Now that's what I call inspiration!

How about you?  What summer fruits and vegetables are inspiring your photography?  We would love for you to share with us in our Flickr pool!

Until next time,

Kelly

These are all so luscious and yummy looking! We've been enjoying peaches lately, and cherries, but I've yet to photograph any. Hmmm ... what have I been thinking? Maybe I'll make a picture of my breakfast before I eat it ...

Gorgeous photos of some luscious fruit! I've been photographing fruit too and I agree, it's very photogenic! Not sure I could hold off on that bowl of peaches and ice cream long enough to take a picture of it, though!

Here we only have had fish pie... I need me some berries, right? Will do! Lovely shots, Kel.

Oh yummy, these look just so tasty and belong in a magazine. I hope you have Blue Bell Ice Cream where you live, because having that with those peaches would be heaven in your mouth!!

Oh - your photos are delicious! I've been buying (and consuming) fresh organic fruits. I eat them before I even think of my camera! The cherries are fabulous.
