I have seen very few in my life, never lived near the ocean, and eventho I am somewhat close to Lake Michigan, I haven't really seen that many here either. Need to start looking for them more since they are a fascinating subject. Thanks for sharing your wonderful captures.Deannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10857633931690620336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7068408751309289035.post-49648199775789692822012-04-16T19:23:51.746-07:002012-04-16T19:23:51.746-07:00What beautiful photos of the lighthouses, Carol! It's really neat and has been well kept. It's privately owned and not open to the public but it is visible from the road.
Nice pictures, I like the one of the staircase.

xo,
LindaLindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04344086795897680409noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7068408751309289035.post-25001098320466527262012-04-16T09:53:11.301-07:002012-04-16T09:53:11.301-07:00I am not surprised that Utah didnt have any lighth...I am not surprised that Utah didnt have any lighthouses -- are you? :)

I especially love your stair shot and I think the last one is my favorite-- LOVE the silhouette.

Wish I had some to share with you... but alas, looks like I need to get traveling and shooting!

Hugs
ClaudiaClaudiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06061773932119197157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7068408751309289035.post-73609834437812845172012-04-16T08:53:07.754-07:002012-04-16T08:53:07.754-07:00Lovely Carol. By the time we stopped at the second one and it was completely different from the first, I was on a mission to see every single one all down the coast. They each had their own "personality" and I love that about them. Will have to go dig out some photos I took on that trip. Wonderful post and even more wonderful photos, Carol. It also makes me want to travel to the east coast even more :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7068408751309289035.post-6802831110059747802012-04-16T04:15:09.679-07:002012-04-16T04:15:09.679-07:00Oh, Carol! I've seen some of the lighthouses in your beautiful photos, too. Whenever we visit the East Coast(I'm in landlocked Kentucky now), we explore any nearby lighthouses. Ahhh ... now you've made me homesick for the coast. ... *sigh* ...

Thanks for a trip down memory lane!

xo
DottiDottihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00811399388989716265noreply@blogger.com
