Somehow singing away to my favorite tunes took my mind off laundry, cleaning, the dog, the cat, etc.. Anyway, that's what worked for me! I love your images! Hope you'll be back there soon. I have worked from home for several years, and sadly the business I worked for went out of business so I'm down with that work at home job...but what I did was start my day early doing laundry, and any other little chores right away. By 10am I was ready to go to "work". I allowed myself a morning break, lunch away from the computer, and an afternoon break. Other than that, I was working. heyjudephotographyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06098165048025314116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7068408751309289035.post-14778293185669852022013-09-04T14:40:07.599-07:002013-09-04T14:40:07.599-07:00So sorry to hear about all the damage to your offi...So sorry to hear about all the damage to your office. What a mess and a lot of work to clean up. My husband & I run a consulting business out of our home so I hear what you are saying about focusing on work. It is easy to become distracted with loving pets, chores, etc. around the house. However, it is equally difficult NOT to work all the time when the work is right there in your home 24-7. Our solution is to put everything, business, personal, blog responsibilities, etc., on the calendar and set reminder alarms. We've been doing that for a year now and has been working well. Pam's suggestion to include breaks and lunchtime is also excellent! FYI - love your images. Puts me right there.CarolHarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00535526506601587242noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7068408751309289035.post-40009695670113912122013-09-04T13:50:03.467-07:002013-09-04T13:50:03.467-07:00What a terrible disaster! She might just be on to something. I'm at a loss ... since I've retired my days seem to have no pattern and I'm a person who needs a pattern to follow. Speaking of that, I just realized, I meant to start the laundry before I sat down at the computer so I'd better skedaddle.
