Summer night...
Is there anything that sets a summer mood more than a silhouette? In winter, we are tucked away from the darkness, near our fires or tucking in for sustenance.
But those glorious summer evenings, when you cannot make yourself leave the porch; when you listen as the songbirds go to bed, and the crickets awaken.....
The breeze begins to get just a bit cooler - maybe you wrap a cardigan, or zip a sweatshirt jacket....
And the lightening bugs appear. I long for the days of "the summer porch" - Oh to sleep outside, under that sunset!
Or to "dance by the light of the moon!"
