Summer Memories

by Stephanie

By the calendar, summer doesn't officialy end until September 22nd. But for many of us, the start of school and the change in routine makes summer feel shorter than it truly is. So today, I'm encouraging you to continue enjoying the season, even if it means your lazy days are over.

Share with us your favorite summer memory and post a photo of it in the flickr pool.....vacation, hanging out by the pool, enjoying activities with your kids or grandkids, fireworks or some other great summer pastime! We all want to savor every last minute of summer that we can!

In a bit of limbo here, but trying to hang on to summer for all it's worth - even though fall in NY is wonderful....but that's another post. :)

Still enjoying summer here and will be for at least another month! But September brings a little bit of a break in the heat and cools off some at night so I'm looking forward to that. Love your photo!

Wonderful image. September is always the transition time weather-wise here in Seattle. We start getting cool mornings and evenings, but midday still feels like summer.

I'm a day late but wanted to pop in here because I love this photo. It says so much, particularly to those of us who are beach-lovers. Yes, I squeeze every drop of summer that I can ... but I still love the transition of late summer into early fall more than any other seasonal transition.

Wish I had some to share .... this was one of our hottest summers on record. Particularly July. It's been nothing but hazy, hot and humid. So, I'm actually looking forward to waving Buh-Bye to Summer!
