My friends, this is fall right here. Look at the glorious color Elisa captured in her photo. What I love about this is the color of course...but I love her composition and use of DOF which puts this spectacular tree in context with the neighborhood street. I can just imagine how it might be to drive down this street on my way to work.
I would like to thank you all for your gorgeous fall photos in the Flickr pool. I have to confess, it's making me regret accepting October as my theme month because it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to choose one photo for the week. Every photo I'm like, "wow...look at that. oh my isn't that so lovely." You all are making my job very difficult. And I thank for that from the bottom of my heart.

Oh, that color! It reminds me of when I lived in New York (instead of Arizona) and there was a maple tree right next to my apartment. Every day when I came home from work and turned the corner, there it would be in all its glory. I would gasp for a second, thinking something was on fire and then smile when I realized it was that amazing maple tree. Thanks, Elisa, for that memory!
