Susan Bolton's litte bird with the wonderful graphics seemed the perfect choice to start off our 'Beginnings' selections for this month's Focus on You.
The well-worn garden ornament and the text drew me in and as I scanned the photos, I kept coming back to this one. You can find more of Susan's work on her Flickr photostream right here.

Dottie, I can't thank you enough for choosing my photo for the "Beginning" theme of 2014!! Im thrilled and speechless to see my little worn out garden bird on the front page of FOL! I took this particular photo because this is how I felt in 2013….completely worn out due to illness in the family, but also the old adage "turning over a new leaf" for 2014! I feel very blessed every single day and want to wish beautiful beginnings to everyone at FOL!
