Focus on You

You know, I already had a hard time choosing the Focus on You this week, so many wonderful photos. But I kept coming back to this one. And I think for me, part of it is the story behind it (click here for the full size version).

This image of an Australian Magpie was taken by Liz ( on Flickr - LizS-B ) and in her description she said, "My photography journey began with bird shooting. I am so intrigued by the behaviors of birds. Here I have captured one of my favorite birds listening to movement below the surface in order to capture his lunch."

She not only got wonderful detail with a great perspective, but this photo captivates me in the way that she was able to capture this very unique behavior of this Magpie listening for his lunch. Wow, can you imagine having hearing this good?

Liz lives in the land down under, blogs here at {amothersfaithhopeandlove.blogspot.com}, and you can find her Flickr photostream here. You are really going to want to check her out on Flickr for the most incredible sunsets and sunrises ever!! Thank you so much Liz for sharing an interesting piece of your earth space with us.

P.S. - Keep sharing your images with us in our Flickr group, and when adding an image for our theme this month (Earth Day) don't forget to gives a little information with it (why you love or chose it, or how you think it relates to the theme-thanks!)
