Last month, in one of the weekly emails I receive from Kim Manley Ort, she mentioned how impressed she was by Nathan Wirth's visual Q&A at COOPH, The Cooperative of Photography. (go here to read Nathan's Q&A)
She said,
"Wirth answered a series of questions with images and his answers are brilliant."
She then created her own Q&A post on her blog. (go here to read her version)
So today, I am answering the following question with my image at the top of the screen -
"What truly inspires you?"
...
Your turn.

This is truly one of your best pictures. It takes my breath away. Like you, the sea always inspires me. Even more, it heals, calms, invigorates and never ceases to amaze me. I'll be back later to read those two articles you've linked to.
I saw this on Kim's post and am getting around to trying it. Thanks for the push. your ocean image is glorious!
Wow! Love your seascape ! I will pour myself another cup of coffee and read those two articles :-)
oh this is such an inspiring image linda! the colors and the light are so beautiful. and I totally get it...the water is such a calming, peaceful influence. thanks for the links to these articles. can't wait to check them out!
Oh, yes, the ocean inspires me too as well as sunrises, sunsets and flowers. Your image is amazing and making me chomp at the bit to get to the ocean (Saturday!) I read Kim's post but haven't tried this yet. Am definitely going over to read the articles! Thanks, Linda!
I tried this and had fun!
It was a treat to see what others came up with :-)
What a gorgeous image of the sea! I am a water person, and find inspiration by the bay or at the beach. I will have to read more about answering questions with images.
Many, many things inspire me but the ocean is definitely a huge one. Your image is breath-taking. I did try answering all the questions with images (on my blog) and it was a very illuminating process. Highly recommended!
