Not only do I love your purple haze, I love all these random facts about the color purple! Who knew a color could have so much "personality"?

I have to say that to me, the line “When I am an old woman I shall wear purple…” doesn't speak about a woman's struggle with aging, but with her delight in the freedom of it. And I have found it to be so for myself. It's a joy to wear whatever I please without caring what others might think is appropriate for a woman of my age. I don't think I actually have anything in purple, though. That might need to change! :-)

Love all these facts about purple, some that I knew and some that were new to me. I can't believe the one about Tinky-Winky! You'd think I'd know that one since it is recent but I had never heard that! Looking forward to seeing everyone's purple images in the Flickr gallery this week!
