Labor Day in the
United States is a public holiday celebrated on the first Monday in September.
It honors the American Labor Movement and the contributions that workers have
made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of the country. It is the
Monday of the long weekend known as Labor
Day Weekend and it is considered the unofficial end of summer.
Whether you
celebrate Labor Day where you live or not, I hope you had a lovely weekend. We hope you enjoyed our August Break and we
will be resuming our “regularly scheduled programming” tomorrow with full
posts. Don’t forget our September Monthly Focus is “glass”. Check under the Monthly Focus tab at the top for some inspiration. I can’t wait to see
what you find to shoot!

Happy Labour Day! I love your flag against the sky image. Labour Day is not celebrated here in Switzerland in September but on May 1st and it's called International Workers' Day.
Where, oh where, did summer go? Each year, it seems to fly by more quickly. Ahhhh! But I do love fall!
I always look forward to Labor Day, not because of the holiday, but because it signals that cooler weather is on the way! Beautiful picture!
