So much
beauty in the Flicker gallery that it is almost impossible to choose one to
feature! But beyond beauty, this photo tells a story. To me it represents the
holding on of fall to the very last second before winter sets in, something I’m
sure many of us are feeling right now. This image is by Sandra (zinnia2012)
from Lausanne, Switzerland. You can see more of her beautiful work on her
Photostream here.
Thanks so much, Sandra, for sharing your art with us here at FOL!

Thank you, Terri, for choosing and showing my photo here! Strangely, this capture made me think of spring rather than oncoming winter. Hence the title: "Spring Slumbers". Those tightly furled up buds are just waiting for the seasons to evolve before bursting into life again! Wishing you and other 'Focus on You' readers a beautiful weekend!
Whether you see spring or whether you see fall, the depth of field and tones in this photo are beautiful! Thanks for sharing, Sandra! And a happy weekend to you.
This is beautiful! I am a big fan of Sandra's work!! I also love to find leaves hanging on. They remind me of how we must persevere through life's troubles, sometimes only hanging on by a tread.
